One Channel Network Encoder, is an IP-based encoder, and collect video or audio information real-time to encode and transport in the network.

User Login
1.	1. Administrator and operator accounts with different authorizations for login.
2.	An administrator can perform all operations while an operator has browsing rights only.
3.	The usernames for either administrator or operator cannot be modified but the passwords can.
4.	The encoders can register with the NVR platform. Userswith the same account or different accounts can use the MTC from different locations to login
Live video
1.	It is possible to browse videos from the MTC directly or via the NVR.
2.	Up to five channels of concurrent video transmissions are supported.
3.	It is possible to start or close video point-to-point transfer via the MTC.
4.	Three channels of direct transmission are available by default, and three channels at maximum.
5.	MPEG4 (CIF+QCIF) Dual stream function is supported.
6.	Multicast function is supported.
Snapshot
1.	Snapshot can be obtained from the MTC.
2.	The snapshot request from the NVR platform is supported.
3.	The snapshot picture format is JPEG by default.
4.	Related caption is overlaid on the snapshot according to the configuration of caption function.
Caption function
1.	Support three types of caption: system time, logo and alarm.
2.	It is possible to set the location and contents for caption through the MTC or NVR.
3.	You can select whether to show the logo or system time on monitoring video.
Alarm management
1.	Motion detection alarm, video loss alarm, memory usage alarm, CPU occupation alarm and DSP dead alarm are supported.
2.	Up to four motion detection alarm regions are supported.
3.	Extends alarm in interface by special alarm cards.
COM Control
1.	The COM (serial port) type is RS485.
2.	The serial port can be configured via the MTC.
3.	The serial port rates supported are 110, 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 43000, 56000, 57600 and 115200.
Networking
1.	Static address configuration and DHCP dynamic allocation are supported.
2.	By default, the device attempts to obtain the network address via DHCP on the first startup after restoration to factory settings. If no address is obtained in 10s, the static IP (192.168.0.99 by default) will be used, and then the user can determine whether to enable DHCP.
3.	The IP address can be modified across network sections from the NVR.
4.	There is no need to restart after modifying the IP address, subnet mask, gateway and platform registration address.
5.	The PPPoE is supported, and the parameters are set on the MTC. Auto dialing upon disconnection is supported.
6.	MTC can search devices according to multicast addresses.
7.	DNS is supported.
8.	NAT traversal is supported.
9.	NVR auto networking is supported.

1.	updates by MTC, NVR Station or FTP.
Device management
1.	Remote control commands can be received for device parameter setting, device restart and factory settings restoration.
Serial port/telnet login
1.	Telnet to the encoders is supported.
